Group Curriculum-Managing Virtual School Stress

Students are dealing with different issues that may be developmentally, emotionally, socially, or even academically driven. For some of our students, this may be the first time that they are experiencing any kind of stress and they may need some help in learning strategies for identifying as well as coping with these stressors. Now more than ever, this added pressure can lead students to feel bad about school and the stress may limit their abilities to complete tasks efficiently.

Understanding their stressors and why completing school work from home is an important aspect of school, will help students to create goals to reduce stress and to develop a beneficial work pattern.

This five lesson unit was designed to aid a group of students in developing efficient school work from home habits, as well as developing an understanding of the stress of this situation and learning strategies to help cope with this stress.
